Launched in 2017, the brand quickly gained traction through its underground marketing tactics and exclusivity. Clint built Corteiz by rejecting traditional retail systems, opting instead for limited drops announced through cryptic social media posts and guerilla-style marketing. This created a cult-like following among young people who valued authenticity and rebellion in fashion.
